Numeracy coaches/leads will further develop their knowledge, skills and impact as they work specifically with year 1 OR year 2 implementation.

Topics for consideration will be co-constructed with coaches early in the network sessions, so they best reflect the needs of the participants. For example, they may include the basic principles and big ideas of the Numeracy Achievement Program and how they translate into practice.

• A variety of coaching approaches that have a high impact on teacher practice and in turn student learning.

• Opportunities to engage in rich collaborative discussions with colleagues and learn “with and from” each other.

• Using the NAP Instructional playbook to support consistent quality instruction.

 

Coaches will be expected to work in one classroom to deliver one outcome at a specific grade level.
