Numeracy Achievement Program - Cohort J
Grade 4 and 5 teachers will be introduced to the NAP background and protocols and will implement the Pacing Guide in their classrooms throughout the year. During the year participants will be encouraged to use a series of inquiry cycles involving use of formative quizzes and intentional interventions in-between. Throughout, participants will build a community of educators, learn more about conceptual understanding and procedural fluency, and apply useful tools to their classroom situations. Along the way, they will see an increase in student achievement, real-time PD, more tools, and a network of colleagues at the same stage they are at.
