Serving Rural and Northern Manitoba

MANITOBA RURAL LEARNING CONSORTIUM

The Manitoba Rural Learning Consortium (mRLC) was established in 2011 to support
rural school divisions in addressing the unique challenges facing rural education, especially in regards to professional learning for teachers.

Today, the mRLC has grown to include the development of the Numeracy Achievement Program (NAP) and to offer approximately 40 quality learning networks a year to over 1000 teachers across the Province.  These networks go beyond, 'one and done' sessions and engage teachers in learning cycles throughout the year in order to have the greatest impact possible for our students.

At the heart of the mRLC, is the co-op model, where we are integral parts of our member divisions and are there to serve their needs.  The mRLC works across and within divisions with a focus on consultation, coaching and
collaboration.
