The Board of the Manitoba Rural Learning Consortium (mRLC) is pleased to announce Jonathan Toews as our Executive Director, effective July 2022.
Jonathan has served in the role of Assistant Superintendent of Border Land School Division since 2015, and also has extensive experience as a Principal, Vice-Principal, and Teacher in rural Manitoba. Jonathan has recently served on committees of the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents, including Indigenous Education and Leadership Development. Jonathan has first-hand experience with the work of mRLC as a participant in the Numeracy Achievement Program and many of our learning networks. He is passionate about teacher professional learning, rural education, and school improvement.
