Hey everyone, has anyone else had those random wow moments with sea creatures while out on the water around the Seychelles? Last year I was on this smaller trip hopping between a couple islands, and out of nowhere a whole pod of dolphins decided to ride our bow wave for like twenty minutes straight. They were flipping and jumping so close I could almost touch them—totally made my day. Then later near one of those quieter bays I spotted a couple sea turtles just chilling by the reef, super calm like they owned the place. Anyone got stories like that? What surprised you the most out there?

Yeah, those dolphin escorts are the best, aren't they? I remember one time on a longer cruise we had them playing around the boat almost every morning for days. Super playful and curious. The turtles though—I've seen a few massive ones grazing on seagrass in shallow spots, and it's always peaceful watching them. For me the real surprise was spotting a manta ray gliding under the surface while we were anchored; didn't expect that at all in the area we were in. If you're planning something similar, checking out different spots with a small group sea excursions boat charter seychelles makes it way easier to reach those hidden bays where stuff like that happens more often. Honestly just feels more relaxed going at your own pace instead of sticking to ferry schedules.
